Reese Allen is a third-year medical student at the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC) in Fort Worth, Texas. Originally from Fort Worth, he completed an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science with a minor in Business Administration at Texas A&M University. During his first year of medical school, Reese worked with fellow peers to start and foster a medical simulation program at UNTHSC, where he served as President of the Student Initiative in Medical Simulation club at UNTHSC. In addition to bringing the simulation program to UNTHSC, he has competed at both regional and national simulation competitions, including competitions put on by the American Medical Student Association and Texas College of Emergency Medicine Physicians. Upon completion of medical school, Reese plans on pursuing a career in Emergency Medicine. Currently, he serves as one of the SIMS Board Chairs and as Chair Emeritus for the Texas Two Step CPR event, the largest non-profit CPR training event in the country.
