Branden Wilson is a current 3rd year medical student at William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine (WCUCOM) in Hattiesburg, MS. Before medical school he attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Tx where he received a B.S in Biology and a M.S in Molecular Pathology.
Branden is the founder of the Emergency Medicine Simulation Interest Group at WCUCOM. He has helped prepare two teams for national competitions. He participated as team leader in UT McGovern’s SIMS conference (2018) and American Medical Student Association (AMSA) SIM challenge (2018) in Washington, D.C. His professional interests are Emergency Medicine and Simulation in undergraduate medical education.
Outside of medicine, Branden enjoys checking out new breweries and Wednesday hotdog nights at the Astros baseball games. Branden looks forward to getting more students involved in SIMS this year.
