Ashwin Chandra is currently in his third year at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas. He did his undergraduate education at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. He gained an interest in medicine from his time as an EMT working in the DFW area. Ashwin was introduced to medical simulation when he started at TCOM. Eventually, he started working closely with the UNTHSC Simulation Center, developing sim cases and helping to design and integrate simulation into the medical curriculum at UNTHSC. In his free time, Ashwin loves to travel, dabble in world percussion, experience new cuisines and cultures, and relax on the beach.
